Visalia Roofing History

Steve Williamson began his career young, while still in high school. In those days, one could get class credit for paying jobs. It was called work-study. Steve would finish his class work early in the day and then head off to construction work in the later afternoon.

After high school, in 1978, he went to work full time in construction, where he gained experience in all manner of construction jobs. Eventually, Steve narrowed his focus to roof repair and roofing installation. He primarily learned from his dad and his uncles, who were in the roofing trade.

Along the way, Steve met and married his wife, Shari.

In 1996, the couple purchased Visalia Roofing. While Shari manned the phones and worked the books, Steve began repairing and installing roofs with a crew of about five workers, who were highly skilled. Steve knew success depended on using the best roofers.

Success also meant using materials from the best roofing companies. Steve found success with that winning formula and continues with it to this day.

After thousands of roofing jobs, Visalia Roofing company can now field several experienced crews depending upon the workload.

Needless to say, Visalia Roofing company has acquired and continues to maintain a stellar reputation for excellence and dependability.

By the way, after 40-something years, Steve and Shari are still happily married. They have two sons and three grandchildren. When not working, Steve likes camping, fly fishing, and just hanging out. He especially likes attending his grandchildren’s sporting events.
